Acts 1:8 ESV

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

I. THE STORY OF NJ
A. Started 3 years ago to see people believe and live the Gospel as the Gospel changed everything about their life.
B. Have we become good at church, bad at our mission?
C. A place where it’s ok, to not be ok…today. (Romans 5:20, 1 John 1:9)

II. THE ONE THING (ACTS 1:8)
A. Jesus left us one thing to do so it should be the first thing we do.
B. The one thing is to be His witnesses. To say what He said and do what He did until He gets back.

III. BEING WITNESSES
A. Jesus never just did good works but did them with a purpose: To talk about Himself.
B. Being witnesses means going from the practical to conversational. (John 4)
